This is the world-renowned Mormon Tabernacle Choir’s second recording for Telarc under its new director, the talented Dr. Craig Jessop, appointed as associate director to the Choir in 1995. Jessop brings with him a wealth of experience from both the professional and academic areas of music, including many years in the United States Air Force music programs, directing the USAF Singing Sergeants, the USAF Band in Europe and the Air Combat Command Heartland of America Band. He also served tenures as Music Director of the Maryland Choral Society and the Rhineland-Pfalz International Choir of Germany. He enjoyed a long personal and professional association with Robert Shaw, as a member of 10 years of the Shaw Festival Singers. Fifteen Christmas classics.
